Sun Tree Yoga

Welcome to Sun Tree Yoga

Yoga is the study of mind/body discipline incorporating breathing, mediation, and physical postures while promoting health and relaxation. Yoga helps individuals focus better, be more confident, flexible, and strong in both the body and mind.

Donna discovered the benefits of Yoga in 2002, and after years of practice with local studios, she decided to pursue her teaching career by obtaining her E-RYT (Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher), and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) credentials with Yoga Alliance. In addition, she went on to obtain her Kids & Teen Yoga Teacher certification to expand her teaching skills and deepen her practice.

After the birth of her daughter, she began to dedicate her practice and wellness care specifically to postnatal recovery. She believes that all women need to feel empowered and supported during their postpartum recovery. Donna offers non-invasive and alternative care to medicated treatment. Please see our special postnatal page for more details.

In the beginning of 2020 Donna created a traveling yoga studio, Sun Tree Yoga. Her goal was to provide a safe, empowering, and judgement-free space for people who wanted to explore their practice. Whether you are interested in yoga as a fitness option, or as a dedicated practice, there is a class that will suit your needs. One unique offering is classes dedicated to athletes and those under strict training regiments.

Donna teaches to all levels and skill set. She holds weekly classes, as well as workshops, throughout the year. Please check the schedule page for current classes and locations. Not having a physical location allows her to travel and instruct to more diverse areas.
